ŚĀKHE
/n/
(pronounced: Sha-kay)
Meaning branch, in the regional dialect of Kannada.
It started with a stitch, a spark, and a little bit of boredom. Locked indoors with nowhere to go, we turned to creativity. Our moms' old kurtas and sarees became our canvas, and before we knew it, scraps of fabric transformed into something fresh, something different.
We weren’t just making clothes—we were rewriting tradition. What happened next? A single post. A flood of messages. And suddenly, what started as a late-night experiment turned into something real. Orders poured in, strangers became supporters, and a little idea grew into a brand.
Today, Śākhe isn’t just ours—it belongs to a thriving community of 44,000 people who believe in what we do. And who are we? We’re Aishwarya Menon and Nomitha RK—two NIFT graduates who dared to dream. We who believe that fashion isn’t just about fabric, but about reinvention. And trust us—we’re only getting started.

ETHICAL PRACTICES
As a zero-waste brand, we believe that fashion should be as kind to the planet as it is expressive. Every fabric scrap, every leftover thread finds a purpose—whether it’s transformed into accessories, patchwork designs, or upcycled into something entirely new.
